How is this different from other support groups?
This is facilitated by a licensed professional counselor who is also a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist
It's not "just talking" in a big group; you learn and apply concepts, tools, and skills.
It's not just education about grief; the individual activities are designed to help you work through loss.
Participants share in smaller groups of 2-3 people. Sharing to the full group is optional. Groups are no more than 12.
Participants do not give advice or compare losses.
All participants are heard with dignity and respect.
