Now scheduling imperfect, uninhibited conversations.

Finding a counselor is no easy task! There are a lot of great therapists in Asheville, and it can be overwhelming to find the right person for you and your investment of time and resources. A brief conversation can help us determine if this is a good enough fit to move forward. I'd like to hear what you are are looking for (it's ok if you don't know), and I can answer any questions you may have. Call (828-407-0257) or complete the contact form below to set up a chat.

Availability: Monday-Friday mornings, afternoons, and a few early evenings. If you are concerned about your work schedule (or two work schedules for couples), clients often find they can make an arrangement for the beginning or end of the day or perhaps a lunch hour.

Next, if a first appointment feels like a good next step, I'll have you register through my Client Portal so we can get some of the formal things out of the way and so that I can start getting to know you before we meet face to face.

Then, first few sessions are still about you getting the chance to feel things out. It's natural to feel some initial nerves and discomfort and for it to take time to not feel like strangers. Still, personality and style are important for you to get the most out of the counseling experience and that may take a few sessions to determine. I love the deep, authentic connections I end up sharing with my clients. If you need something different than what I offer, then I would be honored to be part of helping you figure that out.

My space is designed with you in mind. Enjoy a cup of tea; pick a seat where you feel comfortable; gaze out the window. This time is yours--not only for talking but also for experiencing restorative peace, calm, support, and comfort.
